Open Roles

Lead Brewer

About Us:

Roses by the Stairs is an independent, family owned craft brewery located at the intersection of the Roosevelt and Encanto neighborhoods in Downtown Phoenix. Since 2022, we have been producing high quality lager, ale and small batch wild beer with an emphasis on excellence in ingredients and methodology. Our beers include everything from funky saisons, to modern IPA and traditional continental style lagers. Situated in the historic building that housed Easley’s Fun Shop for over 70 years, we aim to continue the tradition of a family business with a strong community focus. Our small, dedicated team is the heart behind our beer and the personal connections we foster in our space.

This is a salaried position as a full time “Lead Brewer”. The Lead Brewer works directly with the “Head of production/brewer” in daily operations and management of the brewery. The brewery is entering its 3rd year and undergoing moderate and manageable growth focused on self distribution and taproom sales. Our team is small and our roles dynamic but, employee well-being and positive company culture are an unwavering priority.

Furthermore, we are a growing and driven brewery seeking a dedicated Lead Brewer. Who views brewing not just as a job, but as a lifelong craft. The ideal candidate is deeply connected to the craft beer community, stays ahead of industry trends, and brings both creativity and precision to the brewing process. We're looking for someone eager to grow with us—someone who will play a key role in shaping, developing, and elevating our brewery’s reputation as we continue to build something meaningful together.
